Just Cause, is the reason for our e-journal to exist. The title invites the expression of pent up emotions which permeate the soul of mankind. Just Cause in GNLU is an honest striving to recreate the world of the ideal-peace and camaraderie-which might facilitate all round gaiety, verve and creativity. Peace, order and objectivity in dealing with themes of life, literature, justice, academics and war ought to be the emphasis in all our efforts. So, let's celebrate the spirit of "Zeitgeist" which sustains us all. Let us all be part of the "Just Cause". As Woodrow Wilson, a "liberal" reformer, led the United States into World War I "to make the world safe for democracy", so Franklin D. Roosevelt, another "liberal" reformer, led it into World War II, in the name of the "Four Freedoms." In both cases the "conservatives", and the big business interests, were overwhelmingly opposed to war but were silenced. In the case of World War II they were smeared as "isolationists," "reactionaries," and "America-First'ers." Editorial Policy The E-Journal, "Just Cause" aims at giving an expression to the creative potentialities of the Gnlu Student denizens. The Editorial Board depicted below is constituted by the Faculty being in a supervisory function and the Student Editors being in a secondary role . The Student editors were selected on the basis of their singular interest, writing talent and the capacity to sensitize the student community regarding the content, layout of the E-Journal. They are also given the task of inspiring all students to write on burning and thematic topics which are of interest to the Gnlu Student Denizens. Just Cause is a Collective effort, thus, in the broader sense of the term where-in all students participate to create viable and academically rigorous articles and literary pieces. The views expressed are the final responsibility of the contributors. As it was a humble beginning, we choose to keep it an informal affair while involving Students with visible keen initiative to support the Faculty in editing and scanning the selected submissions. These Student Editors adhere to the guidelines and are liable to be changed with the waxing and waning interest of the Students. Its all for all to contribute and savor.
