Directorate of Extension Activities

Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) understanding the importance of extension of knowledge and other institutional resources to the society and to gain insights from contacts between knowledge resources and stake holders with a view to reflect these in the curriculum of higher education including teaching and research of GNLU, apart from imparting in-depth knowledge and understanding of a subject in higher education has established the Directorate of Extension Activities.

Functions of the Directorate

The Directorate of Extension Activities is the wing of GNLU responsible for all extension of knowledge and other related activities. The function of the Directorate includes: 

• To organise seminars and conferences on emerging issues.

• To undertake projects both single and in collaboration with other institutions. 

• To organise special lectures and discussion forums.

• To conduct educational programmes in distance and part-time mode. 

• To conduct short term training or certificate courses for professionals.

• To organise competitions, awareness or counselling programmes. 

• To undertake any activity or project to contribute to the realisation of the aims and objectives of the GNLU.
