  • First National Law School to award a scholarship of Rs.20, 000/- to ten students, who secured highest marks in the NET and sought admission.

  • Sitting Supreme Court and High Court Judges delivering honorary lectures and holding interactive sessions with students and Faculty.

  • The first National Law School or Law Department in the country to have acquired more than 14,000 volumes including many rare and priceless collections worth more than ten Crore rupees in less than a year of its academic life.

  • A well equipped Science Laboratory operational from the very first year of inception of GNLU, organized exclusively by its Science Faculty.

  • A fully functional Computer Lab. with subscription to manupatra.com, WestLaw, jstor.org, AIRSC & AIRHC, AIR Crilj, GLH SC/HC and GLR  etc.

  • Each hostel room having internet connectivity.

  • Two well-furnished Moot Court halls giving students an opportunity to experience law in action.

  • In the very first year a GNLU Moot Court Team participated in the Asia-Pacific Manfred Lachs International Space Law Moot Court  Competition regional round at Sydney, Australia, April 2005. Another GNLU team reaching semi-finals of Henri Dunant National  Humanitarian Law Moot Court Competition, New Delhi, Oct., 2004.

  • More than three dozen students getting placement in top class national and international NGOs as apprentice trainees after second semester (during summer break for a month’s work experience).
