To further the objective of knowledge sharing and dissemination among the legal fraternity and to appreciate the creative talent, the GNLU Law Review Association launched the flagship law review of the University, ‘The GNLU Law Review’ (TGLR) in the year 2008. The Second Issue of the Law Review was released on April 5, 2009 in hands of Mr. Christopher Staker, International Law Expert in presence of Justice G.S.Singhvi, Judge, Supreme Court of India, V Lakshmikumaran, Founding Partner, Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan, Susan Karamanian, Associate Dean for International and Comparative Legal Studies and Professorial Lecturer in Law, A.K.Ganguli, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India, Mr. Kamal Trivedi, Advocate General for the state of Gujarat and other dignitaries.
The Inaugural Issue as well as second issue of the Law Review contained articles from members from the bar and the bench, academicians, professionals and law students from both within India and abroad and has received wide acclaim from all over legal fraternity.
The Law Review has a wide circulation ranging from all the Supreme Court Judges’ Library, the High Courts’ Judges’ Libraries, law universities within India and abroad, law firms, senior advocates and law students.
The Law Review accepts contributions from the practitioners as well as the students and all the contributions are scrutinized on merit. |
