The 2nd LexTech Pan – Asian Law & Technology Essay Writing Competition, 2012 organized by the LexTech-Science Technology and Law Club of GNLU seeks to address the emerging scientific/technological issues and impact of these on various legal philosophies. With the help of this competition we hope to answer the questions of compatibility and conflict between science and the law in present and times to come. We hope that this would help initiate an intellectual churning process for realizing the nexus between technology and law.
The themes for the Competition are:
1. Scientific and Legal Aspects of Commercial Space Exploration
2. Public Data Access: Challenge for the Protection of Intellectual Property Rights
3. Scientific Issues in DNA Profiling Bill
